Description
Schladming, a jewel cradled within the Styrian province, is a testament to Austria’s winter allure. The resort, modestly perched within the captivating Ennstal Valley, is a beacon for snow enthusiasts, offering north-facing ski slopes that consistently deliver excellent snow conditions.
The Schladming-Dachstein region is a symphony of eight ski mountains, each meticulously groomed and ready to be explored. The Planai, the pulsating heart of the Schladming 4-Mountain ski area, is a playground for skiers and snowboarders alike, offering a variety of slopes and modern lifts. The Planai’s pièce de résistance is the FIS downhill run, a thrilling descent that will leave you breathless and yearning for more.
Yet, Schladming extends its charm beyond the ski slopes. It’s a haven for families, offering a safe and fun environment for children to learn the art of skiing. It’s a paradise for snowboarders, with a variety of fun slopes and a challenging Superpark.
It’s a place where adventure takes many forms – from snowshoeing and horse-drawn sleigh rides to fat bike tours. And when you’re ready to catch your breath, the Dachstein glacier offers a panoramic spectacle from a vantage point that will etch itself into your memory.
