Description
Nestled in the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps, Alpbach is a charming village that has been voted the country’s most beautiful, radiating an irresistible Tyrolean charm. Here, your ski holiday becomes a journey into a winter wonderland, where every turn reveals a new breathtaking view, and every moment is a memory in the making.
Alpbach Ski Resort is a gem in the crown of Austrian skiing. The resort sits on a sunny plateau, 1000 metres above sea level, offering an extensive ski domain that links with Auffach in the neighbouring Wildschönau region. Thus, it forms the Ski Juwel region, a treasure trove of 145 km of pistes, all accessible with one lift pass.
The local ski area is a paradise for beginners and intermediates, with gentle blue pistes and a variety of ski schools ready to guide you on your skiing journey. For the more adventurous, the back of the Wiedersberger Horn offers thrilling off-piste descents. And when the sun sets, the resort comes alive with après ski activities, from jolly beer guzzling to dancing with ski boots on.
